I was wondering how well a autoclavable bag with millet in it will colonize with a syringe? Thanks guys for the info

it'll do fine. sterilise the bag contents, inject a  clean and viable syringe, and incubate with a filter for air exchange.

good luck

will do fine. you might want to shake the bag when some mycelium is growing, this speeds up the colonization process.
It's also easy to just grow some mycelium in a jar with millet and transfer it when colonized to a bag with pasteurized straw. sounds harder that it is!

good luck

I believe that to be one of the best ways to do it.
u get air exchange
easy mixing capability
easy to see if theres contams
depending on the strain u probley will have full colonization in 2 weeks

sounds good. bags are great to work with, and though i don't have a whole lot of XP with millet i have used it as a primary spawn and for single pint unspawned casings with good results.
the only down side i have noticed with bags is that mixing compounds the danger of contams, but since they are easy to keep sterile it's not much of a problem.
good luck.
