These names crack me up.  It seems everyone who walks into a cow pasture and finds a cube wants to declare it a new 'strain' and name it something weird.  Who came up with that one?  Besides, there is no subcubensis.  That's another myth.

Psilocybe (sub)cubensis from Roatan, Honduras.  Although subcubensis as a distinct species has been discounted by DNA analysis, this collection does have the smaller spores described by Guzman.

the spore print was like, red... but yeah ive read subcubensis is pretty much the same as cubensis but lighter colored and small, redish spores. i do agree its funny how many different "strains" there are and the crazy names but eh, its a hobby, some "strains" show different intresting recessive traits and its cool to know u can isolate the cool ones and collect em all! personally, im gonna attempt to clone a realllly light colored one off of these cause its would b intresting to grow nearly white shrooms with redish spores..IMO (subcubensis)

this is nothing other then a better variety of the Mexican type Mazatapec....it is lighter in color on the cap and the stem is narrower as it goes under the cap...both are stark white stems one cap is medium brown even golden and the other is light tan at best....it is a great yielding mushroom....by far better performing then its sister from Mexico....which is darker and smaller overall....but in general the Mexicans pin easier but can abort very easy....where as the Hondurans need more attention to pin but are full on blown out once you get them going flush after flush......basically i got the same results several times on both corn and white millet about 900 to 1200 wet on two quarts about 3/4 full....thats just first flush with organic compost....i pulled about 1/2 lb from each tray with only organic compost and two quart jars 3/4's full.....it out performed the Nepal's by about 30% which is my personal no hassle strain.....

BIG PROPS TO THE HAWKSEYE 100% perfect 100% of the time......i suggest you try both the Nepal's which are great every time all on their own no attention with just sunlight getting to them they will take off by themselves.....low air exchange required...but more fresh air means more and bigger fruits....
also the Rotan Hondurans at first i didnt like then i re-cased and bam bam bam....i was like damn...then when i gave them more attention the next time...IE: lots of fresh air at pin time and they love it from then on they are trouble free....go five six time all on their own....

both never a single contamination.....working for up to three months with a tray from the container store....2 quarts 3/4 full with cracked corn or bird seed (white millet)....millet out performs rye every time using a side by side control group....MILLET will get you 30 to 40% gains over a rye or rye berry!!!!!!

these are scientific studies in a controlled environment.....if you cant produce you have a problem on creating a real world environment.....8 hours is 5 hours to long to not see whats going on.....fresh air big time every 1.5 to 2 hours gives time for reproduction of CO2 so they grow up further to get fresh air....every 45 minutes stunts their growth by 30% over the life of the flush...its a fine line but controlled environments dont lie!!!!!!!! you will however find that a tray with 2 quarts of sub will get you the same amount of dry weight if you let it run its course through four or five flushes.....you might not get your biggest flush until the end using rye in some cases...but corn and Bird seed are more productive and more consistent over a variety of different environmental conditions.....thats all i have to say is was a great three years study course but i got an A+....i wouldn't settle for a B+

I was hoping that some of the experts would comment here.

You are quite definitive in your statements, and I would like to
see them supported.

Millet means 30-40% gains.  I will try millet on that alone.

...but the rye berrie teks are so well defined, and my rye jars
have really turned out well. (fully hydrated and quite dry on the surface
....zero contams in 24 jars....I know, I am a baby)

Well, thank you for sharing your results!
