Any other Qicksilver Messenger Service Fans out there? I have thought they were "the shit," since I first discovered them back in 1978. I?ve had many happy trip and mj session with them as the background music! :laugh:

I still think the live album "Happy Trails" is one of the best LSD trip soundtracks out there! :cool:

Agreed! That is why i specifically refered to Shady Grove as the best STUDIO album :grin:

love 'em...
saw 'em with dino valenti in ummm mid 70s...
he talked about his first trip. falling ibn love with a lamp post & diggin' the hell out of everything... & said he was trippin' that very night... came down onto the floor of the hall while the band kept playin" & had a few tokes off of what was going around in the crowd... when he got to our row, i sent down a pint bottle of southern comfort - his eyes lit up , & he smiled wider (acid grin :wink:

) & chugalug, ahhhh, & sent the bottle on back (with a sip or two down the row, and still some left for me & my mates...)
hell of a concert, whew...
gary duncan is still at it, making music... some nice fairly recent stuff is available from the website...

I was lucky enough to see Nicky Hopkins in 1975 playing with the Jerry Garcia Band. have some very hot tapes of the band from 75-76 with him on piano too.
