Can anyone tell me the minimum humidity at which green mold can survive and/or reproduce? With use of a dehumidifier and antifungal spray I am combating a severe mold problem in my apartment. Until this is eradicated (along with the mold spore issue which is much more pernicious) mushroom experiments are necessarily on hold.
I dunno. Some molds can't be eradicated.from structures..Without demolishing..Mold spores.. can be viable in the air without humidity. The spores spread easier when they are dry. I'm not sure if antifungal spray will kill mold spores. Filtering may be more benificial. You could dry things out if maybe the mold is growing somewhere in your house. But the spores will probably be still in the air looking for a damp place like your shroom efforts to thrive on. But chances are its growing somewhere you don't see. If the source of they mold is outside maybe in the air. Again filter your environment. Using a flowhood or some kinda air purification. HEPA.?
