A few questions about contaminations

Hey, my friend's been growing since about August and is on his 2nd batch, using PF tek, Hawaiian and PF classic spores. He has 2 terrariums, one that holds about 10 cakes and the other is smaller and has 9. I apologize if these are annoying questions, but I don't know where else to get help. First of all ...a few Hawaiians in the first one had sort of a strange brownish color on the stems...he scraped across it with his fingernail and it was perfectly white underneath. Still, do any of you think these would be unsafe to eat? Also, on one of the Hawaiian cakes, one mushroom had a cap that flattened out (like tabletop flat) before most of the others were even near breaking the veil. Anyone seen that before? Also on one of the PFs, one of the caps is very deformed, but hasn't changed color or anything, any idea if THAT is a contamination? On to the 2nd terrarium...there are no visible signs of contaminations but there is a slight musty smell and the cakes are taking forever to pin, any idea whats going on there?
Thank you very much in advance to anyone with any advice

It could be spores, didn't it have a purpleish hue ?

Yes, probably an uneven flush. That's ok.

It's hard to tell, genetic deformations can happen due to some contams, enviroment or simply genetic factor.

How often are exchanging air, ventilation ?

Nope, not a purple hue...just very brown...and the smell seems to be a little more potent or something unless I am imagining things.

2-3 times a day. Everytime it gets sprayed. A few of my cakes seem to be developing some green mold or something. Should I toss them or treat them some way or just leave them alone?
Thanks

Well if you have green in you cakes then you should throw away all the infected ones and keep an eye on the others. This is not a "throw it all away" thing but depending on the contamination growth, all your cakes are possibly infected. Btw, i think you're over misting the cakes, also use destiled water for misting which is verhy easy to get. As advice, try a bubbler, a ratter big tub as terrarium and perlite humidification and forget about misting or air exchanges.
