ebay
etsy has them sometimes too.
Also people sell them on the subreddit.
Also Misplant, check him out, I think it's just one kind of pack but it's a mix of genetics, stone eater mix or something like that. Edit edit: #0930 Living Rocks Texana 50.00/100 (Buy 2 & get 1 Free)

Made a 4K time lapse of one of my loph. Hopefully be able to catch some more interesting events soon enough. Guess I should water it next!

Some of mine from seed, had them sitting on my shelf for 50 days because I got lazy after I unpotted them. Around 500 days since sowing.

So after my success with a grafted 'naked' lophophora I've done the POC harvesting with an own root seedling to see the growth and its effects.

The light pink flower says williamsii for me, but I'm still learning what they look like.. Also confused by my knowledge of hybrids.

I went on a research binge and I want to say I feel the same, but like you said hybrids..age can also have a lot to do with it. And Iโm definitely a newbie with minimal knowledge.
Not that I am opposed to to growing species other than williamsii- just that consumption is the final goal here and if they arenโt , then Iโd like to at least know sooner than a few years down the road so I can begin trying to procure williamsii seed you know?
But I do have to say that I have already learned a lot from them, and I appreciate them.

Transplanted a few lophs and got a couple pics while their roots were out.

A few of these are recovering from a fungal issue from a couple years ago but are doing a lot better now. I think they will like their bigger pots, a couple were pretty cramped in their previous ones.

Iโm always intrigued when I see the size of the taproot. How old are they?

I'm not exactly sure on the ages, but I'm going to say those are 4-9 years old. They could definitely be bigger for their age, but I don't like to push my lophs too much and the ones that had the fungal issues stalled on growth quite a bit.

Mites! Soak with alcohol and dust with diatomaceous earth immediately, isolate them too
I wish you luck, i had some of these bastards, theyโre persistent, might even get another pack of lady bugs

Looks like it might be mite damage? New growth is fine so nothing you can really do now. Older damaged growth will become subterranean flesh

so you think its an old mites damage that starts to heal? i treat them with neem oil and also with abamectin so mites cant survive this but i hope its not kind of fungus.
