I'm not sure if this will be of use to anybody in this thread, but here's an interesting article I found on erowid: Peyote Regrowth Following Proper Harvesting Practices

I got my first seedling of alberto-vojtechii going today! It was a gift from an amazing member of this forum, I can't wait until I can graft it!

I finally got my first viable Lophophora diffussa graft on an opuntia, it looks like it's pretty firm, but it's getting the humidity dome until it shows signs of growth, since opuntia grafts are super fickle:

My other diffussa graft on a peres is looking pretty nice! They grow FAST!

And I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this on, but my Ariocarpus retusus started showing pink hair! Is this normal for a graft or do I have something special?

I don't open my containers for months, but I have some sifted soil tossed in there. I wouldn't know when to start fertilizing or if it's a good idea just yet.

I've found that most cacti seedlings can tolerate humidity very well if the soil isn't very heavy in organics and they're not hurt or scratched somehow. I've got some 4 month old lophs and pachanoi in a very humid terrarium and they're doing fine. They're a bit stunted from sun burns, but otherwise doing OK.

Just did my first alberto-vojtechii graft last night

And this L. Difussa is already having a pup at just 3 months! I'm sure it could be bigger if it had a bigger root-stock, but it's not doing too bad!

Those look pretty big for vojtechii! How old are they? How often do they flower? Mi graft took, I'm just waiting for it to grow a little more

Saltillo and Monclova are both cities in Mexico, the km39 was probably the highway km that they were found down on between the two cities. Sometimes highways here have the km you're at on a sign.

Does anybody know if lophs grafted on a peres can withstand sun better? It seems to be the case for Trichocereus and I attempted it on another cacti seedling with great success (it's a hairy, hairy cactus and I'm sure that protects it from the sun a fair bit), but I'm worried they might be exceptions and not the rule.

EDIT: Found an answer here
