Do cakes shrink?
    #1264529 - 01/31/03 07:33 AM (14 years, 5 months ago)

After a full flush, do cakes shrink at all? Im asking this because id like to use the jars that these cakes were originally grown in. I can only see doing this if the cakes shrink a bit. Or would that be a bad idea? Should I just find some sort of container and make sure the cakes are below the water level?

Yes, due to the fact that the mycelium growing on a cake makes the cake smaller as it uses more water.
