How scared should I be to drive this?
    #12640077 - 05/27/10 05:11 PM (13 years, 11 months ago)

I have a 1/2p of caps that im driven one hour away. Ive driven much more much farther but I havent done this for a long time and am nervouse. The stretch of highway has cops radaring and once in awhile you see the highway patrol searching the shit out of cars. My plan is just to put it in my bag and my friend is driven and just try and stay cool and since dogs cant smell them if for some reason i get pulled over just refuse a search. Any tips.

When ever carrying drugs always make sure your 100% sober, alert, and fucking ready ... I would never take large amounts of drugs on major highways of any sort stick to the back or country roads may take more time more gas but well worth it.

Always make sure all light are working tail lights blinkers reverser all mirrors are in working order seat belts on at all times lol and no smoking dope in the car :P always fat cigars to really keep the bugs away or a cig or three.

"Try to have a child with you"-This will help ...a cop will "usually" never second look a "family" vehicle

If you cant have the child bring a big ass dog with you something that will kill on site

Another really great tip

DONT FUCK UP- DOnt give a cop a "reason" to "pull" you over...Just don't give them a reason to do anything at all and you'll be ok.

---I have placed dope and many drugs in the hub caps of my wheels works very well...

Make sure plates are clean and stickers are up to date (again dont give them a reason).

And if you do get pulled over remain calm your only fucked till they find the drugs everything else you do or say before then does not matter what does matter is if they get that "illegal"
Try To keep the drugs outside the car never inside or on you ...

But most of all Be paranoid as fuck you never know when the scopes gonna come to target you and you must be ready
On the Outside your to as look like a calm strapping young american lad strolling down the 600 in his ve-hicle going for the local time brunch.
But on the inside your a eternal flame of disease ridden hatred for the foul beasts and every moving four legged pig out there is your next enemy.(remember you only got 2 legs they got 4 there always 2 steps ahead of you thus you must be ready for the bullshit ahead)

Have Some Good Old Bob Dylan blasting or some Willy Nelson with a nice bumper sticker saying "Guns Save Lives" And you'll be Sure clear of the "fear"

If you can avoid the main highway try and do that. And make sure you got a straight story to tell the cops IF you get pulled over.

> drive 5 mph over. buckle up. and hold on for the ride.

NEVER drive more than 4 mph over the limit.  5 mph will get you yanked in a LOT of places if it's a slow day.

Like was said, make sure all your shit is working.  Even check your license plate lights and minor shit like that.  Don't hang anything from your rear view mirror.  It's illegal in some states and they can always say they stopped you to warn that your view was obstructed.

#1 tip... Put your stuff in the trunk, inside a bag or cooler, inside a stamped and addressed sealed first class mail package.

First class mail requires a warrant.  Even if you consent to search you can always revoke it if they start ripping into things.  And it's very reasonable to not want sealed and stamped packages tampered with.

I heard this tip a long time ago and have never heard of any problems with this method.

Even if they get probable cause to search your vehicle (I smell weed, etc., etc..) they will need another probable cause specific to the package if they are going to open it.  They will almost always get a warrant before opening mail, even with probable cause.

Another tip... get one of those visor holder deals.  Keep your insurance, registration, etc. in it.  This makes for a quicker, easier stop and you don't have to reach into your glovebox for your paperwork.

Read some other threads here on traffic stops and searches so you know your rights and how things go.

Here is my trick. Tell yourself and believe this statement, "I will never get into any trouble with the police, ever again in my entire life."

If someone ever says anything about getting busted, or you read something about someone getting busted, repeat the above statement inside your head and remember, that is truth.

Since I have implemented this tactic, I no longer obtain speeding tickets (most common issue with police) and no longer have any other problems.

You can use this tactic for other things as well. For instance, if you feel guilty about selling drugs, use this one; Selling drugs for profit is legitimate and provides a function to society, and carries no penalty."

Or how about having lots of sex with women, "Having sex with women is healthy, lots of hot women want to have sex with me." Be warned, most women do not find themselves "hot or beautiful."

The thing is, you have to believe and really want what you are saying. Otherwise this will not work.

What kind of advice is this? Delude yourself into your own little fake piece of reality? Your just justifying behaviors with whatever reason you can find to make yourself feel better. Besides, believing something to be true doesn't actually make it true (other than in your own eyes).

Be prepared with any situation by planning your actions in case of any possible troubles and then just accept the outcome as it goes. Just don't obsess about the "what if's". There is a big difference between weighing possibilities/having a plan and obsessively worrying.

It works for me? I used to get in trouble with the police all the time; I literally have payed $10,000 + in fines to the "system." But not anymore.

If you move weight a lot be prepared to get caught. You got to be ready to handle the situation when the time comes. Now if you only do it once in awhile your chances are much lower of course. Telling yourself that what your doing is right is a good mentality to have but don't fool yourself into thinking that nothing will ever happen to you.

Well as long as your car is new, you aren't driving weird and you look normal; I don't get it? If you have an ozone generator in your car you can't smell anything. Why would you ever get your car searched? Why would you ever get pulled over in the first place?

Doesn't make sense. Getting busted isn't an option; don't allow it to happen. Yah people get pulled over all the time... but that isn't you. Totally psychological man.

Wait... we have people on this board telling people to SPEED while driving with drugs?? What the fuck has this place come to?

There is a "Maximum Speed" and a "Minimum Speed" posted on the freeway for a reason.  If the max is 65, go 60.  If there is no minimum speed, put the speedometer a few mph under, cruise control that bitch.  Never, ever speed.  Tape the drive if you want to. Getting out of a cop pulling you over for driving the speed limit is 100x easier than if you're going even 1mph over the limit.  If asked why you're going slower than the limit, tell them that the collision force of going 55mph compared to 65mph is significantly lower, and increases your chance at surviving the crash (f=ma, more a = more f ... do the math yourself.

>  If the max is 65, go 60.

Bad idea.  If the limit is 65 then most of the traffic is going 70-75+.  If you try cruising along at 60 you're going to create a hazard and you WILL get pulled over.

4 mph over the limit is the most normal and safe speed to drive at.  If you're smart you'll try to mesh with traffic while going between the limit and 4 over.

The idea isn't to get out of a speeding ticket.  The idea is to not stick out like a sore thumb.  Much faster or slower than the surrounding traffic and your chances of getting yanked go up enormously.  Driving any bit under the limit in many areas will create a hazard with people whizzing past you every couple seconds, honking at you, etc..

Try going under the limit on the west coast or the northeast US and you won't last long.

It's all about having a car in good shape, using cruise control and staying with the general flow of traffic. It's not fucking rocket science. Just keep to the right if no one is in that lane...

I'm way over 120,000 highway miles with zero stops. I drive just above the speed limit, no more than 5 mph over.

Some people hate the way I drive, but fuck em. I am usually carrying some kind of illegal shit and I hate getting hassled by Johnny Law. I started driving with this in mind loooong ago, and it pays off in the long run. People drive like fucking morons, then try to carry weight and bad habits spring up and they get popped.

:goodluck:

I had a college professor who said that people that drive 80 on the freeway are asking for trouble. He never has had a ticket because he obeys the traffic laws.

If you drive the speed limit 80% of the time you should be fine. It's pretty easy to see when cops are out in force; like it's the summer and they have 3 cops within 15 miles of highway. The summer is a popular time for police to come out. It's a combo of driving near the speed limit or following traffic, and not being paranoid. If you constantly think about cops or doing something wrong, they are going to pull you over.

Fun. Or you could just keep them in your trunk, obey the speed limit and other laws. just relax enjoy the scenery, use your turn signal, and don't consent to a search (if you do get pulled over). and If he gives you crap or asks you why just say "I know my rights and like to make a habit of exercising them. they can't look inside your trunk unless they arrest you for some reason and that shouldn't happen unless they look inside your trunk. so really you should have no problems.

Did you make it OP?

If the highway is a known speed trap or high intensity drug area (whatever they call it where the cops are suspicious of drugs whenever they pull someone over), then you can take the backroads.
