Ultrasonic and Casing

I read somewhere that if you case then a ultrasonic humidifier is not a good idea. But then others use them in the set up?? Whats the deal?

This should probably be in beggining section, sorry bout that.

We must discover new frontiers... People have been standing for centuries before a worm-eaten door, making pinholes in it with increasing ease. The time has come to kick it down, for it is only on the other side that everything begins.

I use one.
I only do casings.
whats the problem? seriously, just make sure you keep an eye on it and aren't drowning your casings and you should be fine. I run mine 1 hr on 1 hr off on the lowest setting and my 60 gal rubbermade stays at about 80-something% Rh.

the concern is over-humidification. if you've already got one, then use it but watch to make sure the rh doesn't stay too high. if you don't have one yet, maybe consider an air pump bubbler type thing.
