You know I just heard mention of Eq being P.Subcubensis, I'll have to dig up my P.M.O.T.W. book by Stamets one day and check it out.

Hippie3.. please.. dont lie.. i dont want to get into the polotics of this situation with you and the major players here.. the flame wars and bs.. and your competing website..
but im sorry.. EQ is definatly faster than PF.. but innoculate both, lable the jars, and keep those babies at a constant 86.... ive had a half pint colonize in 10 days.. 3 days to germinate.. maby a bit longer.. and about 7 to fully colonize.. beautiful Rizo...

well, politics aside, (DD isn't competitive with Shroomery because we are non-commercial ad-free),
i made 3 birdseed cakes 3/18, one pf, 1 b+, and 1 eq.
the pf finished 1st & has given 3 flushes so far, the b+ is just beginning to pin after being cased and the eq is about 85% colonized.
and don't call me a liar unless you're by god ready to get it on.

In my experiences PF-MR raced like hell, and EQ were slow. But my PF-MR was a long long long long time ago back when I was a lot more carefull.

So to be fair to the strain I nicknamed "Slo Asses". I sat with a 10mL measuring Pipette and spent an hour putting together just 4 jar ;-)... exact science time... Will let you know how they run.
