OVOID ORCHARD/ MACRO PICS..

so guys i hit the jackpot today once again, found about 1lb of ovoids. But heres the thing, most of them are sun-burned and arnt totally black but have black spots.
Is it ok to eat them when they are burned?' i would hate to throw all of them out

you're the one who was adamant that like a pluteus sp were gyms... i would post pics of these "ovoids" for your own safety
and i dont know if you can eat sunburnt caps

stupid camera died, sorry.....
some arnt as bad as others.... im just wondering if i can eat the all black ones
id say most are just "dark brown"

if the caps are dark brown its probably just spore deposits. if the mushrooms are are overly soft or rotting inside and out dont eat them.

Depending on your ovoids 1-2 grams will be a eighth of cubensis equivalancy. on the 2 grams side very likely could be significantly stronger than 1/8th of cubensis.

theres really no other mushroom that blues in Pennsylvania except for boletus and some gyms right?
after alot of research off shroomery....any shrooms that look like a sub ovoid or bluefoot are good to eat if they are blueing... correct me if im wrong please....

Time of year too, mate. Ovoids fruit in spring, not autumn.

There are as many as a half a dozen mushrooms that stain blue and are active in Pennsylvania.
