try to take a better pic of the whole jar...too blurry and zoomed in to really tell...looks like there could be some trich but like i said this picture is too faulty to tell from.

PS what substrate is that? looks pretty dark...

poor picture but it looks like mycelium now you just need to know if it trichoderma or the one you intended.

Careful taking pictures with an iphone, some of them automatically add GPS data (yours didn't).  To be safe upload your pics to the shroomery instead of places like imageshack or photobucket.  The shroomery scrubs all the metadata while the other sites leave it which is fine for normal photography purposes, but not so hot for mycology :-D

I'll try to take a better pic but to answer your question its a rye substrate bag. It almost looks like cotton balls growing on my substrate. and i'll be sure to upload them to the shroomery next time but may i ask how you knew i used an iphone?

I have a plugin in chrome that shows the basic exif data for pictures on mouse over.  Whenever you take a pic with a digital camera it adds in various bits of info mostly relating to the photography settings.

Now if I save a copy and open it in photoshop there's a bit more info, as seen here:

Not really a big deal, but a lot of those new smart phones automatically tag photos with GPS coordinates too.  Wouldn't be very cool if you accidentally posted a picture of your shrooms with a GPS map to your house.
