I have an 18 gallon mono w/9 1" holes. about 2-3" of perlite 95-99% humidity. 79 degrees. Has been in FC for about 8 days. About four days ago I got pins, they seem to not be getting any bigger, just a few more pop up every day. No black caps so I dont believe them to all be aborts. Substrate is coir&verm, they are in 2 aluminum trays spawned with WBS a 1:2 ratio. First grow, Treasure Coast.6500K CFL 12/12. Am I just being impatient?

So hold on a second...
You say you have a monotub with nine 1" holes and that you spawned WBS to coir/verm bulk substrate....And you have 2-3" of perlite?!
That doesn't sound like a mono tub to me....sounds like a hybrid between a mono and a shotgun FC...
There is no perlite in an actual monotub, just your bulk substrate and your spawn mixed together..2 or more holes near the casing layer (or substrate layer if you don't case) on two or all sides of the tub,and 2 or more holes near the top of the tub.
A shotgun fruiting chamber is a big tub with many many 1/4" holes drilled on all sides and the bottom, each hole spaced about 2" apart. Then you wet and drain enough perlite to fill the bottom 3" to 5" of the FC,then you place your cakes or casing trays in the FC.

i have found that mine usually go pretty slow until they get to about 1/3 of their total size, they grow super quick. one time i literally went to bed one night, and my cakes had a bunch of pins that had been growing for about 5 or 6 days, and i woke up to them triple their size, caps open, spores everywhere. big mess. if i can find the picture ill post it
patience.

think of it like this. the less you look, the faster they seem to grow.

Be patient bro. I've had tubs take up to a month to fully colonize. It's worth it in the end!
