Tek Article Suggestions

Hey everyone, new to the forum but long time dweller and finally I'm going to give everything a shot. However, despite knowing the basics and reading quite a bit, when it comes down to actually DOING it, there's so many different articles that it's overwhelming.
Basically I'd like to skip the PF Tek and go with something that may offer higher yields. I plan on buying a pressure cooker, suggestions on what "model" would be great. So if you could point me in the direction of the "must do" articles, that would be great. Basically just the best complete articles would be great, I get a bit lost when it comes to looking at bits and pieces of articles that only cover certain aspects.
Thanks for the help!

Start to learn the science and learn how the mushroom actually works, from beginning to end. Then start looking for "teks" to meet your needs, follow them with good sterile technique, and you should be golden

Yea true that, They are the most productive sub cup for cup.
I can get 13+ dry gram per cake and a cake is only 200Mls
12 cakes could yield me 4-5 oz and that only 2.4 quarts worth of sub

As for what make/model of pressure cooker: All-American PCs are a bit expensive (they start around $170) but they're well worth the money.

I agree. They not only provide better nutrients but also have better b.e. because of the shape. I didn't say a bulk tub would be his best bet, I just said to find teks to meet his needs, pf or bulk.

Thanks for the help so far. I think one thing I'm getting confused about with the PF Tek, after actually watching the video on the MushroomVideos.com site is the fact that they use a different substrate that I've seen others using. A lot of people here seem to use WBS and the like.
Could you recommend some start-to-finish articles that you feel would be good? Maybe PF Tek would be ok to start with as long as I just use a lot of cakes. Thanks again for the help, much appreciated.

Doesn't WBS colonize faster?
BRF is more nutritious over WBS I'm sure

If you choose to work with grains, I recommend a grain LC tek.
Testing grain liquid cultures is still required if you are inexperienced. That is where the PF tek comes handy since its easy to prepare.
