80+ is pretty hot for trays, and your tray looks a bit funky. How does it smell?

I'd try to put it somewhere cooler for a few days. Not cold, just cooler; 70s instead of 80s. Let it finish up, then fruit it.

It's not very thick. It's about 2 inches deep. I plan to just use monotubs now that I know I can incubate them in the 70s. My house stays in the mid to high 70s. My girlfriend and I refuse to use the AC. If the mushrooms stop flushing I think ill throw a casing layer on top to see if i can get more. does that sound like a good strategy Doc?

No. Why do you have a bug up your nose about casing?
Two good flushes will give 80% of all you can get from a tub. And coir doesn't need to be cased.

Just curious, but why would you case AFTER a flush? casings arent intended to add nutrients, and they shouldn't.
The best casing strategy I've seen, if you ARE going to case, is to wait until you see primordia (pre-pinning), and then do a very, very light casing layer that's been pasturized or sterilized. If its vermiculite alone, you can sterilize it without risking more contamination than pasturizing it.
An off-topic question..why do you guys refuse to use your AC? health reason, or financial reason, or what?

It costs like 150$ a month to use this POS air conditioner. So we use a couple window fans to circulate air. it stays at 75. The less clothes my girlfriend wears around the house the better anyway. I really don't mind it being at that temp. I was thinking that adding a casing would add moisture not nutes.

See if you put fans in the right windows in your house to take in and blow out air you can create a nice breeze running through your house. And If I can keep my house at comfortable temps in the Ga sun then so can you. I don't know about you but I just try to not be a wasteful person.
