I've never seen the actual book, but that looks like it should be it. Also look into Eckhart Tolle's books "A New Earth" and "The Power of Now"

Well then, if you've read it already, then Ram Dass's book will probably be very similar. Still worth reading though. I love books that remind us to live in the present.

It's the true nature of our existence.
too much baggage associated with thinking of the past and future, and when that thinking happens it happens NOW.
All it does it take away the true reality of being in the moment as it is.
I heard Be Here Now is more a psychedelic-type text

I find that reading books about living in the moment distracts me from living in the moment.
It's like a book on how to read.
Hey, but that's how I got my start.

That book got me through one of the roughest trips of my life. It really comforted me when nothing else could and I read it cover to cover (this was on day two of the trip, not during the peak during which I usually cant read)

You read the entire thing?
Markos had informed me that the book is meant for psychedelic enthusiasts.
Is it as comprehendable while you're tripping? I know I can somehow post on here no matter what state I'm in, but if it's a better read sober I think I'll give that a try.
Though it is enticing to think I can just eat a low dose of shrooms and read it cover to cover.

It was more comprehensible while I was tripping than if I read it had I not been.

That book fucked up my head. For over a month after I read it, I was spun out like a psychedelic novice after a bad acid trip.
Be Here Now snapped some barrier in my mind that I didn't know was there. I'm glad I read it, but I still don't understand it.

Your not supposed to understand it, your supposed to Be Here Now. Do you have to understand how to breath?

Okay, let me rephrase that.
I still implement it quite poorly.

I think I should read half now, and half during my next trip.
Great and easy read so far.

It's the type of book you read again and again as a meditation. Reading it while High is always a great experience.

It's gotten me through some hard trips as well. I always have it around, ready to go if I need it.
