This cake has been sitting in the chamber for about 8 days.

I see a couple pins in there. Did you happen to use any lysol or something similar? Looks kinda like some mutation.

Yeah there are a couple of pins there and getting big.
what should I do? just snap it off? or leave them on the cake?
Is it going to affect the outcome of the fruit?

Harvest them whenever you harvest the first flush.

Tiny will be quite alright...
Might mix it with other dry mushrooms for tea brewing.
Mushroom tea is awesome! 
I will remove with an exacto knife when I harvest.
Going to do a research on mutants.
