I could listen to this song over and over and over and over

Ripple by the Grateful Dead. :smile:enjoy!

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung
Would you hear my voice come through the music
Would you hold it near as it were your own?

It's a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken
Perhaps they're better left unsung
I don't know, don't really care
Let there be songs to fill the air

(Chorus)

Ripple in still water
When there is no pebble tossed
Nor wind to blow

Reach out your hand if your cup be empty
If your cup is full may it be again
Let it be known there is a fountain
That was not made by the hands of men

There is a road, no simple highway
Between the dawn and the dark of night
And if you go no one may follow
That path is for your steps alone

(Chorus)

You who choose to lead must follow
But if you fall you fall alone
If you should stand then who's to guide you?
If I knew the way I would take you home

If you guys haven't been to a Dark Star Orchestra show, you really need to. I just saw them for the first time last night and it was amazing. They covered the 10/23/71 show from Michigan so I got to hear alot of the older Dead stuff. Definately check them out

Well everybody's dancin in a ring around the sun
Nobody's finished, we ain't even begun
So take off your shoes child, and take off your hat
Try on your wings and find out where it's at.

Realy worth it huh?
This summer I believe, is going to be all about the concerts.
I think I'll start looking into when and where the best show will be for me to go to.

yeh bro dark star is dank, i get sick of cover bands too, but dark star gets a set down to the time of day/ night, every note, comments such as: all right now were gonna play everyones favorite fun game, ect almost everything possible is included to authenticize the show and get it as close to the real thing as possible.

now keep in mind that just like the boys, dsa has good nights and not so good, but theyre as real as it gets, and humble too.

they even do Jerry band sets, and alot of the time fillers after shows. they have their own Jerry girls too. im from eugene or. they were here the week that Kesey died, they played at the mcdonald theatre,( a movie theatre that Ken and some friends recently bought and turned into a eugene venue).that night Mountain girl, got on stage before the second set and said a few words about ken and then said that that night was the first time shed got to see dsa and was very impressed as she brought them back out on stage.

what part of the country are you from?
