Verticillium hairlip pics help?
    #1258486 - 01/29/03 12:24 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

I'm worried that these are infected.  Can anyone share any experience with verticillium.  Is there anything I can do?  Will drying these mushrooms make them safe to eat?

They are fine to eat now. Nothing wrong with them. Just a little ugly.

Reduce humidity.
Increase air exchange/fanning.
Your perlite is far too wet.

Verticillium is not poisonous and is one of the more common contaminations.

Good luck
