bad wording; misleading.
no, he's 100% right, when the the cap starts expanding and the veil rips, the fruit will gain mass but not psylocibin content.

no, sorry but I think you're both wrong.
it may not be as potent in terms of drugs per mass, but there is still psilocin and psilocybin being created at all times, although negligible.
people just say young mushrooms are more potent because they are more potent per mass

yes, you're right. I'll correct myself
"the fruit will stop gaining SIGNIFICANT psilocybin content"

Just as a quick FYI - you don't have to harvest the entire tray all at once- you can just pull the ones that are ready as they mature and as long as you're careful, all the others will continue to mature and you can get each one at the perfect stage...

ok as for potency the mushroom will keep producing actives as long as it grows. if the ratio changes by size and age i would say it is negligible.
as for harvest pick the big ones, the small ones will show rapid growth for a short time when you take those monsters out because you are freeing up nutes that weren't available before. its actually kinda cool to watch its like the sub knows you took a mushroom so it says hurry lets blow these ones up so we dont go extinct.

i would advise against partial harvest. When you partially collect the fruits, it will trigger the 2nd flush, and the space taken up by the ones not collected won't be used to form new pins. Now if you collect them all at the same time, the next flush will be initiated, and more pins will form in the freed up space. Makes sense?

what is your source for this info because ive never had a problem pulling a few of the larger more mature fruits and leaving the majority behind.

I hear what you're saying but I don't believe that is correct at all. I was in Holland at the big commercial cubensis farms back in the early 2000s and they were doing the partial harvests and they were having no trouble cycling between flushes.
Literally you're talking about 6, 12, 18, or 24 hours between picking (usually every 6 hours), so it's not enough time to initiate a second flush. It will give you nice even looking fruits post-harvest and it may even be healthier for the beds/trays...

so whats you're suggesting is to pick out the ones that are already growing...alright, i'll do that and post here, maybe you're right.
