its not.  Can u give your mush buddies, Vitamins, Since they are more closely related to humans, than plants. It would be easy to over do it-but just wondering if any one had any in-site- O and what nutes, does fungus need- ie,boron calcium, magnesium etc. and what percentages if anyone knows would be help full thanks ALL

honestly dont waste your time if you mix up your sub right you dont need to add anything else, shit coir and verm mixed will work perfectly fine. gypsum and anything that raises nitrogen are really all you need to worry about if you are really set on additives.

The more ingredients you introduce to the process, the greater your chances of infection are. Once you achieve a desired result with basic ingredients, you can try experimenting with vitamins..or even antibiotics for greater contamination resistance.

not to mention plants and humans have vascular systems for transporting nutes. though shrooms do "breathe" like us ie. they use oxygen and give off co2.

either way what is good for you would most likely kill your myc and or plants so i would say use other fungi as a reference when comparing good and bad of said tek or additive.

Mushrooms and humans are both part of the same super kingdom, Opisthokonta.
Drugs to treat fungal infections have been difficult to develop because fungi share many properties with people; from an evolutionary standpoint, fungi are closer to the animal kingdom than any other form of life. If you put mushrooms on your pizza, the mushrooms have more in common with you than with the tomato sauce. Fungi are also much more closely related to humans than are viruses and bacteria, which makes attacking fungal infection a tricky business.
Unlike other kinds of germs, both people and fungi are eukaryotes — among other commonalities, their cells have a nucleus, and the nucleus has its own membrane. In fact, fungal cells are so much like animal cells that much about the basics of human life has been gleaned from studies of baker’s yeast.

It doesn't hurt to add a little Algit to a bulk substrate.
To insure adiquate trace mineral are in it.
You can also add a tiny bit of finely pulverized crab shell.
By finely pulverized, I mean very fine powder, about like talcum power.
That insures a good supply of chitin in the substrate.
