My Still Air/Glove Box - Suggestions?

EDIT EDIT::: WRONG DAMN CATEGORY >.>
Mod please move it to mushroom cultivation?

Just wanted some opinions.
I used two 4" toilet flange risers, 8 nuts/bolts, mis-matched janitorial gloves i had laying around, silicone (used rtv/high temp, all i had), a 56qt sterilite tote and way too much monster tape.
The first thing I did was used the risers as a template to mark (on the lid in my case) the inner circles and 4 holes per riser (the risers have 8 total, I just did every other). I used a drill bit that was just the right size for my bolts (3/8", i believe?) to drill the holes, then took an exacto knife and cut the inner circles by hand (easier then a sodering iron or a dremel imho).
Second I sealed the gloves between the risers and the lid; first grabbed a small stack (of about 5 disks) of CD-Rs I had and shoved them into each glove (at this point the gloves are inside out) at the top so it was stretched all the way around the disks (pain in the ass for one person, 4 hands is easier). I then applied a bead of silicone all the way around the inner edge of the flange riser (rough side), and put the finger end of the glove through the whole and let the outer area of the CDs (with the gloves stretched around them) rest on the ring of silicone, thus the 'inner' seal. I then applied a bead of silicone on the outer edge of the CD/glove combo (outer seal). Waited 24 hours. Then removed CDs from inside of gloves, and the gloves remained stretched and held by the silicone (i put it on thick).
Finally, I laid a bead of silicone around the hand holes (about a 1/4" away from the edge), popped in the bolts (threads on the outside of the lid) and placed the glove/flange risers on the lid. The gloves were sealed between the flange risers and the lid. Tighten the nuts down on all your bolts (as tight as you can without breaking the plastic, 1/4 turn tight is probably just right).
Waited another 24 hours.
Third, monster taped the hell out of the edges of both the lid and the tote, even got nifty and made a hinged bottom with shoe laces as braces. Lid snaps on tight now, seems like a tight enough seal to prevent 95% if not 100% airflow.
Got everything I purchased from Home Depot for like $25.
I use lysol spray, oust and rubbing alcohol as my sterilization chemicals. Good enough?

Looks great! Only worry would be amount of space in that thing. Also don't need both disinfectants. Ditch the Lysol, Oust works way better.

It's much easier to turn your bin upside down and put the holes in the side. Throw away the lid and use your table as the bottom.

i like the idea, but functionally, you will find it near impossible to do anything in a space that small, with gloves so restrictive.
here's what you want to do:
get a tub and just turn it over so the lid is facing down, now you have more space. drill the holes in the side. get a tyvek jumpsuit from the paint aisle and cut off the sleeves. make sure the sleeves have elastic on the wrists. attach sleeves to holse. wear rubber gloves before entering hands and wallah: still air box that has tyvek filter for any air currents that moving your arms around inside will cause.
