Pretty sure a polar bear isn't 12 feet tall and can't knock your head off without effort.  scary as hell but...

Did you see two images show up?

Both images are visible but I'm going to have to stick with polar bears being the biggest of bears.

that bear picture you posted was one of those, one in a million fuckers, and that douchebag killed that genetic line for nothing more than "sport" and a fancy picture to show his family.

I love bears there was a little one in a tree up at our house and I stared at it for hours, it came down and I was really calm so it didn't like run away and I came back out and fed it some thawed out waffles and apples and touched it. There's pictures of me touching it. I think those make better pictures than standing and touching a dead carcass but hey that's just me.

A bear isn't going to walk into a city and eat children. You are a fool if you think they do that. Most of the time, bears attack because they are threatened/scared of humans. Those pictures are horrible. What sort of twat would kill such a great creature like that for a trophy?

The Polar bear is closely related to the Grizzly, but slightly larger and white (yes!). It is the largest land predator.

especially because black bears live there, they're the most aggressive species of bear.

What are you smoking??

Black bears aren't the most aggressive...I'm pretty sure that falls to grizzlys or polar bears. Black bears aren't even considered overly dangerous!

I have seen black bears up close. Usually they'll just look at you, then grunt and run away. I've been sleeping in a tent before with black bears around.

My wife even had a black bear try nibbling on her toe! It was pressed against the tent wall, and the bear came right up and gave a  little nibble to see what it was. She moved, so the thing ran away. I came out of the tent that morning and was greeted with bear prints all over our car. Damn thing was trying to get into our trunk (where the food was).

Black bears are like the least dangerous bear. You are supposed to look big and shout like a madman when you encounter one, to scare it away. If you come across a grizzly you are just supposed to play dead. I'd rather have an encounter with a black bear any day!

The pit bulls, I would think.

The bear could kill one pit bull pretty easily, probably two. Three would be a good match. Four would have the bear done in.
