F1 is nomenclature for a first generation plant.
An isolate is a single sector of mycelium, either from two separate spores, or from mycelium that has combined via anastomosis into a coherent single organism. RR

Thank you-RR- Is a clone an isolate-if its made from the stem of the fruitbody

No, a tissue sample from any part of a mushrooms will still make it a clone.
Isolates are make by selecting myc on agar and transferring it till you have monoculture's then you fruit them out individually

Thank you both- So a clone could still be"multi-genetic" while an isolate would have one gene pool-with out better terms in my vocabulary- so what needs to bee done is grow the clone on agar- transfer till it does not sector any more-? Thanks for the help
