Its just a little piece of cloth/paper or whatever soaked in alcohol used to make things sterile

? Isn't it a sample, a piece of mushroom (that you can clone)? Inside a needle for example.

A swab when referring to a spore sample, is just a cotton bud (Q tip) that has been scraped across the gills of a mushroom to collect spores. This technique is often used with strains such as Penis Envy, which rarely drop spores so their difficult to make prints from. People have got round this by 'swabbing' the gills, which collects the few spores that are produced, and growing out on agar.

Spore swab = A sterilized Q tip that was swabbed through a mushroooms gills, or a spore print. It carries mushroom spores. Used to inoculate agar/perti plates.
No idea who might have them for sale, or what they are shipped in. Better to buy a print.

Ralphster did have some PE swabs for sale that were shipped in a red vacutainer. Don't know if he still has them or not.
I only use swabs for my PE grows, so far its the only way I can retrieve any spores. I'm still working on isolating a good spore producer though.
