PC Cambodian - Recommended Cultivation Methods?

Hey there, I just got some Cambodian spores from a trusted source, and I want to know what method and components for cultivation would you guys recommend. I have had recent experience with coir, rye flour and rice flour cakes as substrates, and F+ and Thai strains, both successful at a certain rate, but the potency still doesn't satisfies me.
Apart from that, In a website i found some dried horse poo on sale for a very good price. Here's pic.
If I want to do some casing using a mixture of hpoo with verm and coir, does that poo look ok to use?

Since you have all that horse manure, I suggest buying some rye berries or wild bird seed. Spawn your grain to manure/vermiculite/gypsum in monotubs.

Yeah. Cube is a cube... except for pe, but that's a different story. Either way, potency greatly depends on the strain (which is always different with multi-spore inoc.) but can also depend on sub. Manure has usually shown to produce better "more potent" fruits, but the difference isn't much. Basically if the sub is more nutritious then the fruits can grow bigger and stronger.

Sounds like you didn't read the OP. He said he wasn't satisfed with potency and also "thought" there was a difference in cube "strains". And he started using manure... sounds like I responded pretty accurately

Any horse manure that isn't free is not "a good price". Horse manure, with vermiculite and coir would be fine as a bulk substrate, but is not used as a casing layer.
If you're really concerned about potency either eat more mushrooms or learn agar work and test actual isolated strains for potency. ~P~

Very good point. I didn't realize that because he just said Cambodian in the post body. If that's the case, OP, you will grow them differently than cubes because they are a different species.
And Pscientist, no hard feelings eh
