spore print question
    #12566713 - 05/15/10 10:27 AM (14 years, 8 months ago)

I am new to this and I havent started researching too much yet because i am not really sure if I will be able to do this during this summer.  It seems that it is illegal for me to own a syringe in my state but I am not  really sure about that yet.  In the case that it is, how difficult is it to grow from a spore print without a syringe?

Making your own syringe from a print is super easy.

Honestly, Without a syringe you are going to run into a few walls with the beginner teks, since you need one for knocking up Jars.

what state do u live in, if you dont mind my asking? to the best of my knowledge there are only 3 states where the spores are illegal. California, Georgia and Idaho.
Are you say that owning a syringe of spores is illegal in ur state, but not a print? it would be good to know that information

Actually you can scrape any woodloving spores on cardboard then transfer that to wood chips. Good luck!

That is why i said beginner teks, such as BRF PF tek.
But you are right, just because you cannot get a syringe does not mean you cannot enjoy the hobby.
