Potency of Brown Rice Flour Shrooms Vs grains Vs poo

My brown rice flour shrooms were more potent then my grain-based birdseed shrooms. Anyone have any idea why this would be? I always heard that grain trumped BRF...what has been your experience?
And that cow or horse poo yields the most potent shrooms...

The potency has nothing to do with the kind of substrate your using. The potency varies due to genetics.

I'm glad I asked then. So shrooms grown with BRF will have the same potency as shrooms grown on Poo, assuming that the spores are both from the same genetic source?

I think there is a trial going on with some members on that (Popcorn Vs Rye) {I use Popcorn myself, easier to get plus any extra you buy can be used while watching movies }.
The potency can be debate-able. I read somewhere about adding DMT to the sub to make super potent shrooms. Terrance Mckenna said also that in regards to cultures, you should change the medium since they become tired of the same xfer after xfer. The substrate could play a great deal of difference in potency.
Has any studies been done on the chemical process of creating psilocin in mushies, like the process of photosynthesis for plants?

There's been many studies. That's just old, bad information that keeps getting repeated. Sort of like an urban myth that won't go away.
The fact is, beginners grow from spores and since every grow is different genetics, they think it's due to substrate. Experienced growers use isolated strains and know potency is stable, regardless of substrate. RR
