Humidity w/o perlite

So, it's been a long time... Almost a year actually- nice to know everything is still running as smooth (or smoother) as before. All right, so here's the question; what is the best humidifier my money ($30-90 range) can buy? Last time I used perlite, which in my opinion is a better method, but this time I'm looking for less of a 'messy' operation. I'll be using a styrofoam cooler with a drip shield. To the best of my knowledge (not saying much), the only sure-fire way to do this is to rig the humidifier to tubing, which will then run through 2-3 large bottles, and then end up in my terrarium. So, back to my question; what humidifier should I purchase, and is this the best method (excluding perlite method). THANK YOU for any positive feedback.
P.S. If I spelled anything wrong, didn't use the correct punctuation, or if I in anyway offended anyone with this- I beg you to please refrain from replying with something completely irrelevant to this topic. Thanks again.

Hmmm, thanks for the feedback Vato- actualy sounds like a damn good idea, but all the TEKS I've seen use the bottles... Is this your method of success? A little more detail would help me, as I'm not a mechanic (I don't want to bust the cool mist). Maybe a nice little picture or diagram? I dunno, anyway thanks again--- peace~

Yeah forget the friggin bottles man! Also it may be too much if you buy one humidifier for one styrofoam terrarium. It can humidify 3 nicely... So if you plan to use it make another terrarium for it. EDIT: You dont have to destroy the humidifier but you do have to bust it up a bit ..

Ok, well thanks again guys but I'm still wondering if anyone has a nice little diagram or picture I could study for the tubing and attatchment, etc... Any bits of info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you don't need 'drying stages' if you put the humidifier on a timer, especially a good one that can run 2 minutes or so every hour.

What does it cost for a nice timer/ where can one obtain one? Also if you are running the 5/8" garden hose or what not vertically, you should have no probs with drip correct? Thank you.
