87 is a bit on the high side, gotta remember these guys generate a bit of heat of their own.
the light is the key, they need light about a week before pinning begins so you've still got awhile.
keep the temp in the 70-80 range
and go ahead and birth.
if you wait, the cakes will dry.
birth and double-end case,
give them light daily & soon you'll see pins.

IN accordance to tips the jars were birthed tpday not worrying about primordia. Cakes and case have been put in terrarium (plastic bin, perlite humid, fish light , low setting heating pad). Now just the wait for pins. Hope everything is okay. Failure now would be horrible.

Just to bring it back to reality, the old fart himself, Mr. PF seems to always incubate jars at 70.

yeah but he just grows for prints so he doesn't need many fast like those with an appetite.
