It's safe to say it has changed my life for the better in a big way. Tripping has also gotten sooo much better since I started practicing yoga regularly.
Mothy, do you meditate? If yes, while doing yoga?
Yes, I just restarted my meditation sessions! I love to meditate after a good sweaty yoga practice, my body feels so amazing it's easy to sit there and "be".

No I dont go to class. I practice myself, i find that it is the best way, because its ultimately a inward path.

Every once in awhile, I go class-crazy and I have to go to as many classes as possible because I want that instruction and guidance in the poses. Then abruptly I will suddenly get tired and bored of the classes and resume my home practice, re-realizing that I enjoy yoga more that way.

Agreed.
You either have to assume that the guy claiming to be a yogi is not lieing or find the yogi within-- and I'll go with the yogi within.

Yes for sure. Class is good for technical instructions but that's really it.

A great example of why using the ignore button is a stupid waste of time.
On topic, I've always been curious about yoga but don't see myself jumping in and spending money for classes, especially because I haven't been stretching regularly in years. What would you enthusiasts recommend as a good way to get started?

How so? Life should be about maximizing your personal experience. If someone comes off as a dick to me they are taking away from that. Pretty simple really. I don't deal with idiots in real life and I'd like to do the same on here.

Because he wasn't serious
Your lack of patience or inability to view others opinions w/o getting the butthurtz seems like a pretty unhealthy way to experience life, but then again, you obviously enjoy your small censored world.

same question
I purchased a yoga book for a few buck, gave it a read through, and then slowly [1 by 1 almost] I have been adding a new thing to my daily routine.
Or no need to even jump into a daily routine, just try and attempt postures that seem interesting. Yoga isn't even just the physical postures, but also about your breathing, your minds awareness, and so much more.
I would definitely recommend this book, as it has been nearly the only yoga source book I have needed so far-- but any decent book should have the same effect.
