ID Request - Lophophora Williamsii?

Hey guys, I have been inactive for about a year now so its great to be back.
Someone is offering this cactus to me and he reckons it is a Lophophora williamsii. When i asked if it could be some sort of variant, or even Lophophora diffusa, he said he does not think so, he thinks it is williamsii.

Before I buy it, I just want to know if you guys think it is a williamsii. It looks to me like it is, however they are very similar to diffusa aswell.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Huh?
I think the op was trying see how much this guy knew about cactus and based on his response, the guy doesn't know very much. Which is why he came here to ask whether we know if that is indeed lophophora williamsii. By the way, i have no idea

Thanks guys.
Well from what I gather williamsii has more defined ribs than diffusa, so i'm guessing this is a williamsii.
What other ways are there to differ the two?
Thanks

To me that looks like it has been "topped" and has regrown back. It does look to be a williamsii, ribs seem to fit and so does the colour of the skin but without seeing a picture of it in flower it is really hard to say a definite yes.
I would believe what the seller says "in good faith" and would buy it, even if it does turn out to be something else it will still be a good addition to any collection.

Looks like L. williamsii to me, but like K said, who the hell cares it's still an excellent addition to any collection
