It's been said, twice.  No, you can't do it.  PC grains for 90.  And don't put the agar in with the grains, then open after 30, you'll have to let pressure subside, allow to cool, then remove the lid.

Just do them seperate.

Hamloaf got us all off topic, sorry.

I would do them separately, take agar out of the PC after 2 hours. Grains leave them in the PC overnight

Disagreement is bound to happen here.

Here's what you need to think about, besides the fact that grains simply have to be PC'd longer:  you need to pour your dishes while the agar is still warm.  If you let the pressure subside after 30-40 minutes, and take the agar out, the agar is still going to be at a temperature of ~250F.  The agar needs to cool inside your PC for 2 hours, or else you risk the bottle you have your agar in breaking from cooling too fast.  AND fast cooling will cause air to come into your agar container too fast, creating a contaminant issue.

Also, you need to have a LOT more water in your PC to prevent your agar from boiling over.

Hope this clears it up for you.

Read it again, homes.  I think you missed the cooling part, which means the heat is turned off.

20 mins has worked for me thus far. One thing they don't tell you is how much LME agar smells like boiling urine when you mix it with how water.

Done mine for 20 minutes along with my LC's at the same time.
In the same PC.

Used MEA with this.

Sure 20 minutes can work but so can 30-40. I just don't get why before you said 30 max
