 Tripping alone tonight - suggestions/advice please!

Hey everybody. Well, the time has come for me to trip again! Its been a long long time..just about 6 months since my last mushroom trip (5 since last LSD trip) and I'm excited. I've got an 1/8 of dried P. Cubensis and am planning to eat around 10pm tonight. I still live w/the 'rents, but they will be in a deep sleep when I'm tripping. I am hoping for introspection on this trip - there are some things that I am sure the mushrooms will aid in sorting out. I plan on listening to music, mostly Tool, and some other stuff. I am probably going to spend most of the time in my room, and downstairs watching a DVD or some TV by the woodstove. If I feel up to it I will probably throw on some warm clothes and go outside in the -11 degree weather to see the stars.
What I'm asking you for is some suggestions. I know most of you have tripped alone before and I was hoping you might suggest some things for me to do to entertain myself. I am going to eat about 1.5-2 grams. I'm not sure how long the trip will last but I'm willing to stay awake until its over.

just be adventurous and not overly concerned about anything . just realise that your in it for a good time and that nothing serious is gonna happen. just enjoy and have a dont give a fuck attidude, be mellow and receptive as you can. if anything sounds fun or strikes you as amusing go for it, dont let anything birng you down. these are the ingredients of a good trip.

ive tripped alone twice. I say that you just lie down on a bed or couch and make sure your really warm. Then watch tv for the peak, especially music videos. those trip the shit out of me.

hey guys..I'M TRIPPING!
this is alot of fun. much more than I expected! Your right...my bed is soo warm and cozy! I listened to TOOL for about 2 hours. wow..its so good to be tripping once again.

Hello again. Last night was alot of fun. I spent most of the trip in my warm, cozy bed, listening to Tool on my big poofy headphones and gazing in awe and wonder at the amazing talent of Alex Grey in his book - Transfigurations. Then I got on my computer, an iMac, and talked to some friends online and visited some websites, and also stared at the iTunes visualizations for a while. It was a good trip and I got to think alot about things. I never wound up going outside cause it was too darn cold.
Well thanks for the kind words and advice everyone I really appreciate it! I got a half ounce today and can't wait for my next trip!!

lucky fuck...ive never tripped alone ive always been around people, either also shrooming or baseline. I think for my next trip im gonna do the same as you...late night while the rents are catching Zs. Ive never tripped at night either! this might be fun!

It sounds like you are already set up with quite a nice plan for a solo trip.
The only thing I would suggest is to have on comfortable clothing, a few beers or something nice to drink, a joint or two, and some nice snacks to munch on while you lounge and watch your DVD.

If your into Tool i suggest you listin to some mellow Opeth. Great fucking band. They can play heavy metal, but also play new age pink floyd type shit. Listin to the songs -Harvest,& -In My Time Of Need. All their songs are good but i love those 2 when i'm tripping.
