I worked a fast food Job about 11 years ago when I was still in high school. It was in a rich part of town, I had to get a ride to by my mom or dad 20 minutes from my house. Back then it was all fresh faced teenagers that worked fast food and tons of hot chicks worked there as well. Now you go into fast food joints and see 30-40 year old dudes working there in some of these areas.

I'm rejected no matter where I apply.
As soon as they see that I'm 22 and never been actually employed they practically laugh in my face. I just don't know what the fuck to do about it.

I applied for a part time job at Lowes Hardware a few years back. As a computer geek, to me a 1 = true and 0 = false. Well, they had the test backwards from my perspective. You had to fill in a circle where a zero = yes.
Well, the manager (a guy I knew) comes up to me and goes WTF is THIS?!
"Have you ever done LSD at work?" YES
"Have you ever sexually harassed a co-worker?" YES
"Have you ever stolen anything besides stationary supplies from work?" YES
"Have you ever been in a physical altercation with a co-worker?" YES
"Do you drink beer on lunch breaks?" YES

What about College? Did you go? They usually give breaks to college kids... you know, if you had a reason to not be working from 17 (after high school) to 22.

lol, i worked at taco bell for a while. my manager was a huge meth addict, and was stealing a good amount in voided tickets and fake refunds and what not. when i caught on he cut me in. not proud of it... but at the wages they were paying me vs the work i was doing and the bullshit i put up with it felt nice to be taking a little extra, ya know?
lol, and that reminds me of my burger king days... lol
long story short, alcoholic/coke fiend franchise owner hires a guy... this guy didnt really exist, except for on paper. on paper he was working 40 hours a week. would have been nice had he been there to work some of those hours ya know? anyway, when the paychecks came she would endorse the back of it and slip it into the daily deposit in exchange for cash. this went on for a couple of months but they finally caught on. how she ever thought they wouldnt is beyond me...
but one day i go into the bank to cash my check, and they told me no. i was like, what do you mean no? they put a hold on the account while they were investigating...well, a hold on anything coming out of it anyway... they were still gladly taking any deposit that came their way. meanwhile back at camp theres a lot of unhappy people with paychecks that need to be cashed. so we took a page from our bosses book, endorsed the chesks and traded them for the cash deposits. worked for me.
needless to say she didnt last much longer after that. i wonder what ever happened to her...
she had mustache, and once fired me because i wouldnt sleep with her.
lol, good times. i could go on for days with the burger king stories...
but ya man, times are tough i guess... i had to bug my current employer for 4 months before they finally gave in and hired me. and guess what im doing? im making sandwiches at a local sandwich shop, kind of like a ghetto sub way. almost every day, id go in at their busiest time and bug the general manager while he was in the middle of a lunch rush. tell him shit like, if you just hired me already i could be here helping you instead of distracting you.
more than a year later im still making the same wages i was when i was hired, and still havent managed to find a better job. at this point im just happy im getting my 35 hours a week.

Yea dude I wouldn't feel too bad about not being accepted to taco bell. They don't get enough business to jack cash out of the register anyways (which is also probably why u didn't get hired)... Generally fast food places hire people that are energetic and social, and are also willing to take orders and always be nice to the customers (so if ur all mellow and look like u smoke alot of weed they won't hire you) And after taxes at minimum wage, youll only be making like $6.5 an hour (they take like 15% for taxes off ur check). Is that what u want?
I had 2 jobs in my life, both at fast food places, and what I can take away from the experience is that: 1. It's not worth working there and putting up with the shit if u don't jack stuff from the restaurant to even it out. 2. Never, EVER take another job at a fast food restaurant again. (or at least burger places. those places or so fucking hot, greasy, busy, and always filled with fat and ugly people)
What you wanna do is find a place like McDonalds which is always busy. Then, apply, say ur always available (u should get hired easily). Then after a few weeks of working there you can start jacking from the place (especially the register, which you will be working if u speak english since usually most of the staff is mexican)

Just make up the name of a place you supposedly worked at.
Say you worked at "Tom's Deli & Subs", make up a manager name and a time that you worked there. When they ask for the phone number of the store, just say N/A because it closed.
Businesses close all the time, they won't think anything of it.

I was an assistant manager for a coffee shop and we never checked up on the persons employment history. If it was a minimum wage job we were hiring for, we only cared about the person looking reliable and friendly. As long as they showed up to work on time and did their job, that was all we cared about.
