Split Caps? WTF?

Anyone ever had this problem? my caps have split for some reason but I can't figure out why.

Your humidity is probably just a bit too low.

could be humidity,
or it could be mutation, in my last flush one of my shrooms' caps grew back on itself (the gills on one side were facing up)

more likely humidity, what is your rh?
wat do you use?
perlite?
bubbler?
aquarium heater?

This is from a kit in a myco bag, the condensation on the inside makes visibility impossible and the temp is around 25c. I don't have a humidity gauge but the amount of condensation should indicate that there is plenty, my other flushes were fine (this is the third flush). If anything I would thought that there is too much humidity. Strange stuff indeed.

one time i had a flush like this. the caps pretty much looked the same. the guy who ate them had no problems.
