Amazing Pinset on a recent tub *UPDATE* First Flush Success+ Second Flush Problems :( 1

Edit x2: 5/16/10 The first flush came and went, and did extremely well. Total dry weight from the first flush was around 3.5oz.
The second flush stalled, and I can't figure out what the HELL is going wrong? It seems like nearly ALL of the pins stalled/aborted, and now a new set (third flush?) is sprouting up, leaving the other behind.
I noticed some of the little tiny pins have yellow heads? I've never seen this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
These are the updated pictures:
First flush ,one day before harvest:

This is where I need help:
As you can see, the second flush started to come in JUST AS WELL as the first flush:

Now, fast forward 4 -5 days. There is little to no growth on the pins, and new mush have sprouted up

What's going on guys?

This tub was done about 20 days ago or so.
I used grain to grain transfers, 6 Quart jars of WBS (R44 Strain, all I've been using lately). The WBS was soaked in gypsum/liquid coffee - and the jars were loaded with one teaspoon of gypsum, and one tablespoon of spent coffee per quart jar.
The bulk sub includes Coir, Straw, Verm, Gypsum, and Spent Coffee Grounds.
This is one of the best pinsets I've had in a while, so I figured I'd upload.
This is also one of my first tubs ever using wheat straw, so now I've done a few more tubs including straw as well. It took me a while to figure out MY perfect tek for using my bulk sub, but so far, I absolutely love my way of preparing my bulk. There is no mess, no hassle, and it seems to work really well.
Let me know what you guys think
I'll update this thread w/ pics as the pins mature!

What's your pasteurization method, man?
I've been having some trouble with coir+coffee lately.

Oh, more info on the tub:
The tub I believe is a 50quart sweaterbox from walmart. It is NOT a monotub, I simply covered it w/ painters plastic (.6 mil) and placed it in my greenhouse. I subjected it to light right away, and within TWO days after full colonization, the pinset had already started.
I have to be perfectly honest, I've found that combining straw, coir, verm, gypsum, and spent coffee grounds makes a really decent bulk substrate.
I can't wait to pick up some horsepoo. I found a free source via craigslist. The spent coffee grounds are free, the horse poo is free, and the wheat straw is 6 bux for a bale. I had so much straw from the bale that I only ended up keeping 1/3 of it, lol.
I really cant wait to start using hpoo

My Pasturization technique was based off of Damion5050's coir tek.
I use:
1 Brick of Coir 3 Quarts of Verm 2.5 Quarts of Spent Coffee Grounds 1.5 Quarts of Gypsum 7 Quarts of water. 5 Quarts of Straw 9 Quarts of Spawn (WBS)
I Put everything in a 5 gal bucket, and then boil water (212F) in my All American PC (921). I then pour 7 quarts of water in the bucket, and let it sit for 30 minutes. After that, I use heavy duty gloves, and mix everything together. If there isnt enough water, I add more water. If its too wet, I add more vermiculite (only add more verm, since its not that suscepticle to contams as the rest.)
While doing this, I take 5 Quarts of straw, and put them in a bucket, and add soapy , hot water. I mix the water/soap/straw together real well, ripping apart the straw as much as I can.
I let the straw sit in the soapy water for about an hour, until I Rinse it REALLY, REALLY well.
Then, I place the straw in a mesh laundry thing ($1.80 at walmart) and put it in my pressure cooker. To hold the straw down , I use the metal rack that comes w/ the PC, and put it on top of the straw in the mesh bag, and then put the PC lid on upside down. I Keep the temp between 150-180F for an hour, and then drain the excess water out of it.
At this point, I mix the bulk sub from the 5 gal tub, along with the straw, in the tub. Then I add 9 quarts of spawn, and there ya go!.
This was for my 105 quart monotub I did last night, and since the tub above is HALF that, use HALF the ingredients.....or just guestimate, which ratios similar to what I posted above.
Good luck

I went ahead and updated the original post, adding some flushes from a few other trays I ran this month.
The ONLY difference between the other trays, and the one with the amazing pinset, is:
1. More substrate in the tray w/ more pinsets 2. Light was introduced immediately after spawning in the tray w/ more pinsets, and 3. Straw, Gypsum, and Spent Coffee Grounds were added to the tray w/ more pinsets
I will update this thread with more pics as the mushies mature

Grain to Grain Transfer, third generation.
I've noticed/ without ANY doubt, that the mycelium from grain to grain transfers is MUCH more rhizomorphic, and in general does better on every single aspect.

Interesting, I've yet to try a clone, isolate or a G2G, but I have noticed that my LC growth has been very strong and rhizomorphic.

I have some new pictures i need to upload. The first flush was unbelievable, and the second pinset is already WELL on its way. The second pinset looks nearly as strong as the first, its unbelievable!
I'm guessing about 2oz dried from the first flush
Ive done 2 more monotubs (this wasnt a monotub) this way now, and they are coming along so fast.
Straw/Coir/Verm/Gypsum/Spent Coffee Grounds really is an excellent combo

yeah it's pretty performing like a clone by now from narrowing down the genetics. I've noticed it too recently.

Wow, amazing pin set man. I pretty much use the same sub as you do but sans straw--you've got me thinking about giving it a try.
Are you going to case this one like your others?

Nope, no casing.
The first flush from this tub was a little shy of 3oz dried.
The second flush is coming in nearly as thick as the first one
