I agree. I find myself to be a rather simple guy and I know they exist. I dont like to talk about it too much...I find they dont like that.

Sadly people think this is something to believe in and not a factual thing. It seems unbelievable only because we do not fully understand why something like Tai Chi/Chi Gong or Yoga for example is so effective.
It has stood the test of time and because of that has become a time honored tradition. Western medicine has taken a different route of trying to find a "miracle pill" that can cure anything.
I think this is a big problem. Considering all the other contributing factors I think laziness is bred into Western Society. Now pharmaceutical company's and "Doctors" have control over large groups of American's that are now dependent on surgery(liposuction) or diet pills who need nothing more than moderate exercise to fix the majority of their problems.
We don't need health-care. We need less lazy obese Americans. You don't have to follow Ancient Chinese or Indian practice. But you have to get off that lazy ass.

but after the first time, it really just pisses me off now. not to say that a perfect left cross to the sweet spot on my jaw won't lay me out cold just like any other human being sometimes....just that after the first few times you have been gang stomped into the hospital, A) you will have to KO me from now on right quick and B) once you know you can fight thru it, you do.
i have seen some amazing energy work, but even if it's real as the dawn, very few ppl are going to awaken the kundalini or really take the time to learn to run the micro and macrocosmic orbits with their chi....
wing chun is an art that will make you twice as good a fighter every week for a good couple of months. whether you start as a golden gloves champ or a frightened girl who can't make a fist, you will become amazingly better very very fast. the principles of centerline and the defense of the body core, as well as the trapping/breaking aspects of it will make you a serious fighter much faster than, say, aikido. Aikido is a 20 year art simply to be able to use it on the street level against street fighting techniques.
of course aikido wants to not hurt you and wing chun has no such handicap...
nonetheless, if you have a master who has both internal styles like aikido and external styles like tung soo do and wing chung, they complement each other. one does not need to learn the whole art to learn to use the principles to enhance the art one does know.
There is real aikido also, which is against real situations.

There's noting "real" about that vid. Those are all set ups. If you know exactly what your "opponent" is going to do your techniques work every time. You can tell they have practiced over and over to get it choreographed.

I do not understand, is there a need for evidence of proof here??

When he said this

I thought he was still talking about chi
and if that would have been the case, i wanted to know his evidence and experience
just out of interest.
