"Quick reply" refers to the function, not how fast you replied. I was referring to the fact that my name was the one being replied to, which seemed strange because it really seemed you weren't replying to me.
I asked lakefingers a question. How did you get all of that reply typed up towards a question?

Oh thank you merciful Jesus, I thought we were really going to be splitting hairs on that one.

Everyones has theories about the universe, most are pretty mundane. I think it was McKenna used an example that your little finger is the perfect size to fit your nostril. Whilst this is a theory it doesn't hold much cosmic significance, albeit it is quite funny.
The really interesting thing is that if you theorize that everyone finds every theory that they have interesting then you would also theorize that you find your original theory interesting, in thinking this you would then be interested in the fact that you are interested in the fact that people find their theories interesting. This circular logic can go on for quite a long time so its best that we take what people say in regard to their own interest at face value
Back to the original post, out of interest has anyone experienced the idea that in a 2 dimensional infinite plane of reality chance can be explained as infinity ^ infinity ^ infinity etc. Whilst if we extrapolate this to 3 dimensions you get something like (((infinity ^ infinity) ^ infinity) ^ infinity) etc. Picture this as an infinite cube of points infinitely close together, at each point something (potentially anything - but strong systems of physics govern this) can happen. This is similar to how our 3d reality can be described.
My question is A. How is the above better expressed mathematically? and B. Has anyone every experienced higher spacial dimensions like this (it feels kind of like funny turns or angles that wouldn't exist normally.) How would this be expressed mathematically? You cant do it using the method above.

are you looking for an actual logical or mathematical explication?

Sorry to reply to such an old post but the man was an amazing biologist. The quote above is not terrance mckenna's. It goes like so:
I have no doubt that in reality the future will be vastly more surprising than anything I can imagine. Now my own suspicion is that the Universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose.
And it was made by JBS Haldane. Not Terrance.
