De-Chlor??? As in Fish

I have been using dechlorinator when mixing my subtrate, and also in my incubation chamber. I always use dechlorinator when mixing, incubating, and even in my terrarium. Has anyone else done so? What were your results? I appreciate any info :wink:

what is dechlorinator mean sorry i didnt find what it means in my babylon dic.

My city water is heavily chlorinated and it has never caused a problem. I would not worry about it.

yea i got .i try to use fresh drinking water.they always says this .every time i use the water from tap some problem will occur also i use dechlorinator in my last time and i also use them for my fishes but i just say you fell a little bit fresh when you eat the mushrooms that grow with fresh water

The only problem with a de-chlorinator is that it takes other valuable chemicals out of the water. Plus, in small amounts chlorine actually inhibits the growth of contams and it won't harm the mycelium.

Cool thanks for all your reply's. I'll make up some jars 1/2 using declorinated and using 1/2 normal tonight, I'll just give it a lil' test :smile:
