Would have been nice if you actually had put a pic of the verm and not the bag. Anyway, the more course verm is the more water that is needed. Just experiment. And you will find a good combination of water and verm.

Well......it's.....verm. Open the bag and post some pictures of the vermiculite itself. The bag doesn't tell us too much about the verm's grade.

yes yes i m going to pick my leftover verms from the garden also its night here and i will never go out and buy some fresh verm on sunday and also monday means its to late to put them on top of my casing layer .and i will also experience the 6th timed used verms .lets see.

just be sure to sterilize it before use. both the coarse and fine varieties will work fine.

If its the larger flakes as i think it will be,just chop it up with scissors or a food blender to make it smaller.

do i have to put them on casing after or before the coldshock.this is importand because the time has come to put it into the fridge

do u mean before i mix with the BRF and water or after in the preasure cooker?

guys i m really out of mind .you said cut with scissors or a food blender .it s too too hard to do it maybe with hammer you really get tired .now i think that is this perlite i have got because i just see verm and look through it .its to hard to find what it means in my language ..but i will try to break the balls wit hammer also they have got clay around them and the inside is yes black .i dont think this will give any harm

Course verm=less water....fine verm=more water..The finer the verm is the more moisture it will hold :wink:
