How long will a fresh shroom can be preserved without loosing potency
can it last 2 days or not in a zip lock bag

In my experience, putting fresh mushrooms into any kind of plastic bag ends in slimey mush. May I ask why you want them to stay fresh? The best way to keep them fresh, if you want to eat them fresh, is pick them right before you want to eat them. Hope this helps.

Yea don't put them in a bag. Wrap them up in paper towels. That works great for those weekend runs.

put them in to the fridge . 4 or 5 days nothing happend they dry a little bit but nothing losts

hell, how often do you get to pick when your going to harvest to be the same time you plan to trip? I'd much prefer to ingest fresh mush than dried. what more reason would anyone need to want to preserve the mush as fresh as possible for a few days? the best bet is a brown paper bag with the mushies not touching one another placed in the fridge. have stored them fresh for about 1.5 weeks with just a small amount of shrivelling (shrinkage, aaahahahha).

i just wanted to harvest in the morning and eat them at about 23:00 that's all i put them into wrap (plastic) i think that my children will stand it for 8-9 hours that's all

Why would anybody rather eat fresh shrooms than dried ? dried are 100% better as far as aftertaste goes. The thought of swilling down fresh shrooms makes me queasy. I realize that there are some people who really like the taste of fresh shrooms but i have never come across anyone. You cant beat cracker dry shroom powder thrown in a blender with some dole orange-pineapple juice, plus it only takes `bout 14 minutes to be trippin that way. I think back when i used to chockoggle fresh field shrooms an chase em with chocolate milk to keep em down, Damn i was one hell of a Tryanasauras Rex of a man...ughh!!

i prefer eating them fresh,more disgusting but i find them more powerful! i always keep them int eh fridge not for more than 5-7 days! they may dry a little bit though so be careful how much you'll ingest
last time i forgot they the dried a little all these days and accidentaly i had a level 5 trip (and iw as expecting not more than lvl 3:-p)

if you're making shroom tea, fresh shrooms are much better suited for it.

I have always preferred eating mushrooms fresh... I have never had cubensis (but I will soon as they are pinning as we speak), but I have collected ample amounts of wild azurescens and the fresh were always much tastier than the dried.

Fresh shrooms in a paper bag will last about a week.
And the difference between fresh and dry is Fresh=more potent.
When drying the magic oxidizes. And when i eat fresh it kicks in faster and harder.
