one thing i miss most about dallas is all the beautiful people. there's always soooo many fucking hot chicks at those clubs that it never worked out for me to be in a relationship while i was in the scene

My wife is pretty cool about it . Although she knows that when I'm rollin' ... Sex is the last thing on my mind. Now I can very much enjoy the site of a beautiful woman when I'm thizzin but it doesn't really go to a sxual place. Just "OMG how beautiful". Now my chick on the other hand .... Sexy little girls beware.... Normally she's kinda conservative but in the lazers, after a couple pills, ... I have to restrain her. Lol. It's always a good time. I can only imagine "the good ol' days". She used to party at the bronco bowl way back when. She says the scene ain't been the same for awhile but as someone who never got to experience regularly scheduled massives I'd say the scene is still pretty dope. I understand that afterlife ain't no rave but i can't imagine having much more fun than I already do. Austin has massives a couple times a year. I'm headed to future fest down there in June. Outdoor event. Should be off the preverbial "hook".

Yeah, I'd like to know where people go in the DC area also. Not that I want to make raving a habit. I would just like to have a place to go occasionally.

Oh, I meant where in the country. DC sucks these days. there's clubs but they're not anything remotely like nations or buzz was back in the day. And so does baltimore for that matter, ever since BAR closed. I'm nowhere near DC anymore anyways. LOL

Starscape is coming up June 5th in Baltimore. Most rave heads left rave scene to jamband or psytrance scene, or they just stopped being a freak entirely.

Yeah, the rave scene seemed to gravitate more towards the outdoor festival scene.

A half hour of rehashing footage of a few people making out and using vicks. 1 minute of positive outlooks.

I wasn't raving in the late 90's but Dallas in my opinion does have a okay rave scene. I cannot compare it to other states, but I'v been to Afterlife quite a bit. It has been raided a few times but the cops just get paid off and a few dealers there are splitting profit with the owner. I'v even done coke in one of the DJ's room with the owner once he closed it at 4am it was around 7am-epic night.
Lizzard Lounge & Insomnia are okay but its more of a club that rave, but I like Lounge the best though.

I've heard TX and California still have a pretty big scene. Its not like that on the East Coast anymore.

I was doing raves back in 88-89 and it has changed since then. When a person is my age and shows up, they all look at you like WTF are you doing here no matter how cool they seem to be. I hate that a person my age is not very welcome at these events because of age.
Hey sgtshroom, you going to shpongle on Sunday night? pm me for details.

You can blame undercover cops for that.

It's that and most of them probably think I am some pedo-perv or something. I just like to do MDMA and dance to weird music. WTF? Isn't that what a lot of people there are doing? Ageism FTL. I actually prefer older people in a sexual sense. 30+ FTW.

undercover cops aren't usually posing as older people. there's plenty douchebags in the early 20s willing to bust us druggies.
around here theres usually quite a few older folks in the crowd, it's not weird at all and there doesnt seem to be any bias against them. they usually have the best stuff but alot of em are djs, promoters, or friends with one of the two

thats cause most older people, if they do shit, have been doing it a long time. with that comes experience of course, and the most important part. the network. finding that good source for the chronic good shit is kinda tough. so the longer you have to find that source the more likely you are to have found that source.

nope. i've seen middle aged folks around as well. i mean there isnt more than a few and i dont always see em out but it's not like anybody thinks its weird that older people show up.
the rave scene in oregon is more of a community, there's all different kinds of people that come out. it's more like a hippy scene than kandy kid scene.
