offwhite powder is NOT MDMA. MDMA is crystaline like good DMT but less jagged.

I've had "molly" that was yellowish in color. It definitely had MDMA in it, but it wasn't pure. It also had a very ketone smell to it, as though they tried to wash the crystals and didn't evaporate all the acetone or other solvent out of it.
Pure molly will be white with a slight hint of grey.

ive had great molly that was slightly orange. made me feel fantastic. might just have some impurities that they couldnt remove

ive had molly that had light brownish tint to it. it was one of the best rolls ive ever had. i licked my fingertip and stuck it in the bag, leaving about a line's worth stuck on the tip. i just licked it off and was feeling good for at least 10 hours. i had a bit of nausea in the beginning so perhaps it wasnt too clean or maybe it just hit me hard in the gut like mescaline can do. sorry to ramble, but yea i remember it being a good time, even tho it wasnt white shards.
though from all the literature ive read, pure mda/mdma is precipitated in the flask by gassing, which leaves long crystalline shards of product. that's pure mda. keep in mind tho, powders get cut. happens all the time. sometimes X can be spiced with meth or other crap. research chems, whatever  sometimes just inactive cut to weigh down the product. it might just be a little ghetto-sloppy or who knows, it might be a straight research chem or just straight speed garbage. try a finger dip or small line's worth. see whats up, sometimes thats the only way to know watsup.

Man on Furthur winter tour I tried to buy some molly, dude just stuck it in my pocket and walked off before I could look at it. Turned out it was brown as fuck. I assume it was sass. It was pretty great.

I concur. My molly hook up had been dealing capsules with white powder in there, seemed pretty MDMAish to me, not like I had anyway of really knowing though. Anyway, one month he was selling brown molly and said it was better and sure enough, it was the best roll I ever had. One pill was too much for the girls I took it with tho, they both spent a good amount of time in the bathroom puking.
Physically I felt fine, mentally I felt fantastic.

The colour means nothing in relation to MDxx chemicals. If it were pure, it would be white powder / crystal. Something that has some leftover impurities will generally turn out with a brown, "amber" colouring to it. This doesn't mean it's MDA or MDMA -- it only means there's some impurities in whatever your powder is.

That sassafras rumour is annoying to say the least. You would know if you were taking sassafras. You first distill the safrole from the sassafras oil and then, using the whacker oxidation method, reduce the safrole oil to mdp2p ketone. There would not be any "sassafras" in the final product and sassafras does not produce a high. This is something dealers made up to sell you something much like "mescaline cut pills" and "dopey pills".

There was a definite sweet taste to it, I couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was though. Could be the same shit. It was GOOD good MDxx.
