I'm pretty sure burning anything and inhaling the smoke is a bad thing. Carbon monoxide and carcinogens are in most types of smoke from natural things like green stuff and wood and plants like tobacco. And carcinogens are linked to lots of different types of cancers. But who gives a fuck man marijuana is wonderful, it enhances all the good elements of my life!

It makes people less likely to die from several forms of cancer, and several forms of cancer are less common among marijuana smokers, including lung cancer. Carbon monoxide and other toxins are carcinogenic, but there are chemicals in marijuana smoke that help induce apoptosis.

The first option sounds pretty good
The second much closer to reality though
On the cancer topic, some scientist, including a buddy of mine, are currently working on a medicine derived from snake venom. Agkistrodon contortrix spp. (copperhead) to be exact, which seems to target those exact cancer cells. Do not know much of the details, he could not tell me, classified stuff and all. Anyway he came to milk my snakes one day, since I am one of the few with Agkistrodon in The Netherlands. Will be a long process but who knows someday it might actually be used to treat us

the fact that condoms dont cover every part of the skin that touches eachother makes them highly unreliable for any and all stds.
plus you can never tell just how much wear and tear the condom's got going on, it doesn't have to break for it to become porous enough for all that shit to get through. which is the reason im not very comfortable even cumming in her with a condom on.

So lung cancer?
Because I thought marijuana wasn't proven to make one more susceptible to cancer other than lung cancer, and that it might, in fact, help prevent it. Although I doubt the latter has much, if any, concrete evidence behind it.
i doubt it, cannabinoids have great potential in fighting cancer cells, but its the act of inhaling burning plant material and combustion chemicals that cause cancer. Its like eating a big mac while jogging and thinking that will work.
any doctor will tell you smoking is one of the more damaging forms of ingestion and would reccomend almost any method over smoking.

I don't care what "any doctor will tell me". Doctors are capable of being conditioned to hold certain views.
Sure eating and vaping is better than smoking anything but I doubt smoking weed and only weed will directly contribute to cancer

ok then, i just think youre conditioned to think weed is harmless.
its stupid and naive to think inhaling burning plant matter into yopur lungs is not harmful and wont cause cancer.

the carcinogens are the chemicals created during combustion. you get them when burning ANYTHING.

That is not the onl y factor that contributes to cancer.
Look at tobacco vs pot. Obviously tobacco directly contributes to cancer. Why have studies shown that pot doesn't? Is it because tobacco is grown with radioactive fertilizers and contains several added chemicals and pot doesn't?
Sorry, I don't believe (yes it's only a belief) that weed causes cancer just from "chemicals created during combustion"

no its because studies cant be done on cannabis without the reaearchers having to jump through hoops.
Quote:
http://norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=6891 Cannabis smoke – unlike tobacco smoke – has not been definitively linked to cancer in humans, including those cancers associated with tobacco use. However, certain cellular abnormalities in the lungs have been identified more frequently in long-term smokers of cannabis compared to non-smokers. Chronic exposure to cannabis smoke has also been associated with the development of pre-cancerous changes in bronchial and epithelium cells in similar rates to tobacco smokers. Cellular abnormalities were most present in individuals who smoked both tobacco and marijuana, implying that cannabis and tobacco smoke may have an additive adverse effect on airway tissue. The results suggest that long-term exposure to cannabis smoke, particularly when combined with tobacco smoking, is capable of damaging the bronchial system in ways that could one day lead to respiratory cancers. However, to date, no epidemiologic studies of cannabis-only smokers have yet to reveal such a finding. Larger, better-controlled studies are warranted.
this suggests to me that smoking cannabis probobly causes cancer but that the tests havent been done to conclusivly prove it.
just because cannabinoids have shown promise in treating certain types of cancer does not mean it negates the damage the you method of ingestion is causing.
Its naive to assume it wont.

Unfortunately, there are few human studies suggesting anti-tumor effects of MJ.
You can do a lot of things in petri dishes, mice and rats that may not translate into a clinically meaningful treatment.

great, we know that it has potential to be benefitial in fighting cancer, that doest mean that smoking it chronically on a daily basis doesnt cuase cancer. there need to be more studys to prove anything, It looks good, but letsnot celebrate yet.
It will take alot to convince me inhaling burning plant mater does not cause cancer.

exactly there just isnt enough research to say for sure one way or the other, and given that as far as i know smoking causes cancer, im going to assume its the same with cannabis until it can be conclusivly proved.
