Now that's a movie, everything normal, and then, CABUM!!! All hell breaks loose, and in a matter of 2-3 minutes, nothing makes sense anymore... I suspect David Lynch to be under some very potent psychoactive substance... He had to be! Anyway, i would like to hear other opinions about the movie...

Not really, he has "undestandable movies, like "Dune" (even though it's a book taken to film by Lynch), "A sraight story", damn even "Lost Highway is more undestandable...

I really wanted your opinion, not an internet page (and one that i knew). The movie wasn't made for people to understand but for them to discuss...
YOUR opinion please.

The Cowboy was an interesting character. For some reason I am thinking he was based on Hank Williams. That is probably totally off though. I was listening to some Hank the other day and I thought about that cowboy. He was totally intense --like he was drunk with a controlled rage.

I was impressed by the movie. I have to see it again to really start discussing it. I was pretty confused by the (what seemed to me) multiple/singular identities going on. For instance Diane/Camille (or whatever the main character's name was). You know what I mean? A very cool movie though. I think Lynch made some kind of breakthrough. I'm not sure what though. I heard from a friend that he had major problems getting it produced and had to make some changes. I can't wait for his next film. I'm going to the movies today. I kinda wanna see Gangs of New York. That era in New York is very interesting. I like the fiction (realism) of Stephen Crane and that was his environment for a while.

I was really into this film and then like you said Wow. 2 minurtes and nothing makes any sense anymore.
I got lost at the end. I thought, "My God! What a Bummer."
Anyway I still love "Wild at Heart" by David Lynch with Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern and her mom Diane Lane.
Thats the one where Cage sings Elvis' Love me Tender to her at the end of the movie.
Remember he mariied Elvis' daughter for a while. Do you think he sang her daddies dongs to her at night under the full moon?

my opinion was so far from what all my friends thought - i thought that the little blue box was a portal into a parallel dimension.

He got Lindy Hopping right, and that takes something unique. As a matter of fact, he got a lot of things right. I liked the monster, the cowboy, and the assassin. But I also liked cooper and windam earle, and bobby briggs' father apparently commands the SGC now. Lynch is one of the few directors who can really scare me anymore.

I loved that movie...that's all I can really say. I thought it was a great change from the bullshit in the boxoffice today.
