 Psilocybe Tampanensis (2nd trial)

My last try on P. Tampanensis a couple of months ago was
pretty much a failure.
I've started a dish then inoculated organic rye berries with a wedge. Tried to fruit it just off the cased grains
with (almost) no success. Got a few fruits, but all small, and the caps were all deformed.
I've let the substrate dry out for over eight weeks(!!!).
Scraped off the casing layer, and dunked it for 10 hours.
Then spawned it to horse manure/vermiculite/straw/coir
bulk substrate. Much better results so far!

Thanks gents.
The miracle about this little tray is that it
actually sat uncovered on a shelf in my growroom for over 2 months
after the first flush.
Didn't contaminate just dried out.
Little rehydration, a little bulk and a little fresh casing layer,
and the fucker is good as new!

Looks good bro, try to increase the FAE for thicker fruits. Also what type of light are you using?
I have some ALT and Jalisco going I will post a grow soon, I will have the casing on in a few days.

Hey CH.
I fan 4-6 times a day usually. Use two 6500K lights.
Finally got a Mexicana A casing to pin as well...
Besides those, I've got P. Semperviva pinning right now,
and a P. Antioquensis in the FC.

Those are beauts! When I got them to fruit from rye, I mixed wet verm in, about 1/2 and 1/2. Still, I only got a few flushes with a few shrooms, nothing like what youve got there. The fruits of mine were alot more potent then the stones..about as potent as pan cyans, so be careful.
