Myco Supply - New Line of Extraction Tools

Hello Everyone,
I would just like to introduce a new product line from Myco Supply.

Over the past few weeks, we've been getting a nice number of emails from people who want to extract "nutrients" from their mushrooms.  I can understand why though.  When reports like, "Yielded 3.85 grams of crystals from 8 ounces of mycelium." come around people are sure to get excited. (quote taken from http://www.fanaticus.com/mycoalki.htm )

Notice, that mycelium was used.... so its not just for mushrooms anymore!

Please know that this method is still being developed. Although the possibilities and simplicity of the method are great.

So, Myco Supply has decided to offer a handful of tools targeted towards those who would like to make some "Blue Juice"  :grin:

Are you going to be selling Keller's reagent by chance? It is mentioned in the teks but it doesnt give the measurements for producing it. Not only that but my local K-Mart store doesnt sell glacial acetic acid, ferrous chloride, and concentrated sulfuric acid  :cool: (maybe the sulfuric acid, but I dont know if I like the idea of "playing" with battery acid)

Hi blahblahblah,
I hate to say it but I doubt we'll every carry it. Most of the chemicals needed to make Kellers reagent are restricted.

Meaning that depending on which state you are in, you may or may not be able to legally ship them in an open market.

Thats the reason we don't carry syringes either, some states can be picky about that.

Yeah, those pumps are the most expensive item in the whole setup. The manufacturer says they don't sell enough so the price is high, most folks I guess use a motorized vacuum.

speaking of extraction tools... I've always wanted a nice separatory funnel but can't bear to drop 60++++ (lots o pluses cause you can drop like 300-400) on a simple piece of glass when a siphon or baggie with the corner cut will work in a pinch. so... if you ever wanna sell a nice separatory for <$50 you have at least one sale on your hands :smile:.

Lana, are those pumps compariable to the pumps you offer?
If not, what are the differences that you can tell? Do you think they would work?
If they are, why the huge price difference?
