A) The US didn't get involved in WW2 until we were attacked ourselves. B) You are trying to compare apples and oranges.

I didnt realize Adolf and Saddam were one in the same, I woulda thought the North Korean guy was closer to Hitler as far as threats to the world go.

The French actually needed help back then. The US are just being assholes right now, they have no reason to attack Iraq.
France was obliterated in WW2, Pearl Harbour was nothing.

They are facts, not opinions. It is not as if we were invaded, and having our citizens sent off to concentration camps. We are going to war against another nation, and the French do not support that. You aren't displaying an opinion, you are displaying ignorance.

The washington times? Do they endorse that false opinion? Oh well, propaganda...
This Bush admin features some not-so-clever re-interpretations of history. Like Bush is comparing himself to JFK, trying to find a way to peace through these WMD threats. Kennedy had Cuban missle crisis, Bush has Iraqi oil crisis. Or the UN being warned it will become like the leage of nations if it don't endorse an Iraq attack.
Now this.
Is Bush that stupid or does he think the people are?

Pearl Harbor was just the last button to be pushed before we went to war.

Pearl Harbor was just the last button to be pushed before we went to war.
Hitler declared war on america first. It's still not clear if america would even have declared war on germany if Hitler hadn't done so. At the time Hitler was considered a better option than communist russia. If he could have destroyed the russians america would almost certainly have sued for peace with him.
It was only when the russians surprised everyone by kicking Hitlers ass that the americans realised they'd better try and grab a peice of Europe with D-day.

True in the sense that FDR needed an excuse. Roosevelt did, indeed, want to go to war, but in order to get Congressional approval, he needed something like Pearl Harbor to happen. Many believe he actually knew about Pearl Harbor ahead of time.

The Swastika doesn?t belong to the Nazis. It?s one thing they stole that has still not been taken back.

The origins of the swastika are as of yet unknown. It is a symbol of the sun in some cultures, life in others. I have seen swastikas everywhere from far eastern statues to the floors in the Roman-German Museum (both of which predated the Nazis by a long shit). Just a little useless background information :P

The United States did not enter WW2 until we were attacked on our own soil.
C'mon man, can't you even reply to that? Tell us exactly how WW2 and a 2nd (illegal) Gulf War are so similar.

Well dude, ACTUALLY the swastica, what it was called during hitler, IS ACTUALLY A SIGN that means PEACE by some tribe. Its fucked up how Hitler adopted it as the Nazi Swastica and brought a terrible reputation behind the sign.

Esoterically the swastika is a sign of POWER, not peace. It could be used in a peaceful context or like the nazis did.

The Germanic tribes of old used the swastika as a sign of power, the Hindus as a sign of peace. All were way back, before the nazis.
